Twin Tigers CIC is preparing for an exciting challenge this July: the National Three Peaks Challenge.
Our team will attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon—the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales—all within 24 hours.
We’ll set off from the gym on Friday, July 18th, aiming to begin our first ascent at Ben Nevis by 5:00 PM on Saturday and finish the final climb up Snowdon by 5:00 PM the next day.
Preparation for the challenge has been ongoing, with regular training sessions, group walks on Dartmoor and the coast, and monthly longer hikes to ensure everyone is ready for the task ahead. Each participant is covering their own costs for accommodation and food, and is committed to raising at least £350 in sponsorship.
This event isn’t just about physical endurance; it’s about raising vital funds for Twin Tigers CIC’s work in the community. All sponsorship will go towards providing safe spaces and scholarships for adults, children, and groups who need support for their mental health and well-being, especially those who might not otherwise have access to physical activity.
